Natural disasters and iron-fisted rule in Romania have given way to freedom and resurgent prosperous times as this European Union member state experiences a boom in its economy and culture. The capital, Bucharest, is thriving and fast-becoming a stylish destination for holidaymakers.
With a sizeable 2.6 million Bucharesters, as the locals are called, Bucharest has always had a reputation for high living, but it’s no longer only the preserve of the ruling elite; it’s available for all. The culture-steeped capital joins those of neighbours Hungary and Serbia as desired weekend getaways from other European countries. A week at least, however, is needed to take it all in.
A North American in Bucharest
Traveling outside of North America to many countries of the world these days can be an enjoyable, fascinating and educational experience. Many destinations are becoming westernized, places in which we find our similarities bringing us a common ground, though one where a pleasing diversity remains. London Hotels Outside The City
Once you decide to travel to visit London and you have a certain budget, and you cannot afford to get accommodated in some luxury hotel, then keep in mind that you can stay outside the city centre. London is a home to some really lovely leafy suburbs, absolutely clean and safe. An advantage to stay in such area is the ability to be away from all the bustle and noise, being a part of the whole background in centre’s areas. more »
