Shrewsbury Folk Festival

shrewsbury-folk-festivalI am in love with folk music, as many of my friends will agree. Every time that I visit a new city I am always conducting prior research into what bands will be performing where and how I can get in on the action. While staying at a lovely Shrewsbury hotel last year, I came across an advertisement for the Shrewsbury Folk Festival. While I had just missed the festival that year, I am planning on attending the one that will be taking place in 2012. It promises to be one of the best one yet, although I do not know how they would be able to beat last year’s lineup. more »
